Default My first post to the AudiWorld HT Forum

Here's my theater. Feel free to critique... I'm all up for suggestions on the best way to frame in the "closet" section where my components are located...

Default not really, the room is around 30 feet deep (including dormers). Feels "dark"

That was the feel I wanted to go for...

Default Superb set-up. Who did it?

I can't imagine you feel as though much is missing. The attention to detail is excellent.
Love the pinball - great addition.
Only thing really missing are vibration-isolation devices under your components just to let out every last ounze of information. Designer models look good, but even squash ball halves or partially-inflated bicycle innner-tubes would be as effective in most cases.
Have you toyed with bringing the speakers out in the room a foot or so? Might well improve separation and imaging.

Default beautiful room! duckie is right bring them out a 1/2 foot to foot away from that wall, do you want

to hide your components and music collection?

are you wanting to make it more into a serious theater room with sound proof walls? if so theres 2 ways, add 4 sound proof panels on hinges into the existing door way where your music collection and equip is with matching material (to your wall paint)or other way, you could take the molding off of the doorway where the music collection and equipment is and add 4 sound proof panels on hinges that are as large as the wall to completely hide it all. maybe put like a diamond shape on each of the 4 panels.

you could even get your favorite movies silk screened onto the panels and hang the toys from the movie on a ledge?

not sure what your really askin for but maybe that will spark some ideas.

btw welcome to the forum!
