Tiger Woods 14 Major Championship as a professional, 65 PGA Tour wins, 7 consecutive PGA Tour wins and 9 PGA Tour wins in one year. 1st ever winner of the FedEx Cup. People have to stop putting Phil Mickelson's name in the same sentance with Tiger Woods. Rory Sabbatini needs to keep his BIG MOUTH SHUT!! Red Wings 11 Stanley Cup championships and 17 consecutive playoff appearences. 8 consecutive 100+ point season. Pistions 3 NBA championships and 6 consecutive Eastern Conference Finals. Tigers 4 World Series titles and 10 AL pennants. U of M Football 11 National Championships, 42 Big Ten championships, 33 consecutive Bowl Game, 170 consecutive crowds of 100,000+, spectators in record attendance of 112,118. U of M Hockey 9 NCAA, 5 Big Ten, 8 CCHA tournament championships. U of M Basketball 3 National Invitional Tournament, 11 Big Ten, and 1 Big Ten tournament championships. Packers 9 NFL, 3 Super Bowl, 8 conference, and 13 division championships. Soon to be Hall of Famer Brett Favre, Thank you for the Great Memories Brett!!! Compressor belt is slipping
Outside temp sensor is faulty Refrigerant pressure is too high or too low Wire going to compressor clutch is broken

![]() The compressor is #11 is this diagram. There is one wire going to it which delivers battery voltage to the clutch solenoid. Make sure it is intact. On my car it popped out of its clip and one of the belts rubbed through it. Fixed with soldering iron and heat shrink.

Have a shop check your refrigerant pressure.

If the climate control thinks it is below freezing outside, it won't allow the compressor to turn on.
If your outside temp display reads -59F or some other crazy value, this is most likely your problem. The outside temp sensor is located in the lower middle grille opening of the front bumper. Make sure the sensor isn't damaged and that the wire harness going to it is connected and not damaged.

Normally the speed of the compressor is a fixed multiple of the engine speed. If the compressor speed deviates from this value by a certain amount, the climate control assumes that the belt is slipping and will turn off the compressor.
Check your belt tension. Here's a pic of the compressor belt tensioner (from Andy_TN's timing belt tech article)
