The Marlins turned me off to baseball very nicely though by trading away a good team not once, but twice. Once Beckett was gone I gave up for good.

Baseball overall was never something I really enjoyed to begin with.

I mean I'm not watching baseball, but I still hear about what is going on. For being low budget and dismantling twice the Marlins have some truly amazing front office to re-tool time after time. Imagine if the Yankees had the scouts, and front office people the Marlins had. They wouldn't need a $200 MM + payroll and the constant renting of over the hill or overpaid veterans at the trade deadline
