Default The fate of bringing the RS6 to the US is hanging in balance. If nearly 600hp along with

the appropriate chassis upgrades sound good to you, tell AoA.

Default What a joke. There are a lot better cars out there for that price range. Including the R8!

Until Audi "gets it", they'll always be second tier. What's the point of an S and an RS? Just come out with one version, and have it launch in the middle of the car's cycle, not the last 2 years! And make sure it comes in performance wise to match up with BMW and MERCEDES!!!!

Default True, coming with a RS version 4 years or more later is lame

No other manufacturer waits so long to intro their halo models, b/c it's patently obvious to most that there is no point to a halo model in the last 2 years of a product cycle. Also, people in the U.S. get pissed when they get short changed.

Default Agree with both of you ^ - Who wants to spend 100k on a sedan that is old within a yr or two?

To Audi's credit, they seem to be changing their odd behavior. The new A5 may debut with the S5 simultaneously and the TT 'S' and 'RS' models should happen within two years, which is a very smart move if they follow through.

I'm sure that there are many of us in the position of waiting for an 'S' or 'RS' car but have the potential to tire of the long wait, causing us to defect to another brand...

I'm looking forward to the Geneva Show next month and some press releases from Audi.

Default Yup, the A5 will be interesting. Hopefully they come out with a A7

I'd like to see a higher end model with air suspension/magnetic-ride, adaptive cruise, DSG, and all the other high-end bells and whistles. Maybe I'm just a dreamer.

True, but Mercedes does the same sort of thing. They come out with an updated engine and cosmetics in the last cycle of the car i.e., the E63, C55, etc.
