![]() Got into an accident this week and my entire front end is wrecked! The most upsetting thing is that the other driver had....you guessed it...no insurance, no driver's license, didn't speak English, and didn't even have any form of ID or proof he owned the car! The police just gave him a ticket and let him go. Guess who's insurance gets to pay for the repair? Now I'm going to be without my car for at least a month! It really makes you appreciate your car when you're driving a Corolla instead...

A great car under any circumstances. Glad you're safe and alive.

The airbags in the front and driver's side deployed and I have only a bruise on my arm to show for it all. I would definitely recommend the Audi for its safety on top of its fun-to-drive capabilities.
I think sometimes the safety of the car gets forgotten in all the 0-60 discussions... Thanks for the well wishes.

but they tell me the way the car is built, they just cut off the front part and weld on new parts?
Anyway, nothing I can do about it.

I was rear-ended on the highway by a reckless driver (weaving in and out of traffic at 90mph) in my parents 84 5000S back in 93. Car was totaled, but my friend and I both walked away. Had we been in my 83 Honda Accord, I probably wouldn't have been around to get my new A6 the other day.
