Default NE1 else do a periodic throttle adapt?

Just did mine again today. FYI,(for those who are unaware) the DBW program modifies itself based on you driving habits. Every few months I reset it to the default. Its easy to do . Turn ignition on to position before the car actaully starts. Press the gas pedal all the way to the floor and hold it there for 10 secs. I do it twice. I have noticed that while I am holding the pedal to the floor, I always hear 5-10 cliching noises eminating from behind the radio/AC area. I don't know if this proceedure is aplicable to those who have had a ECM flash?

Default I do!

I try to do it everytime I have the time to sit in my car without the car running. I dont hear any clicking though. I hold it for 60 seconds. I find that the longer you hold it down, the longer the adapt lasts.

Default Doc, when you say you do it twice, do you push the pedal to the floor twice for 10 sec each w/o

turning the key off each time? Thanks, Fellow Doc.

Default Interesting, but I've never heard of this. Is this procedure in the manual?
