Default Squeaking wipers

My passengers keep commenting on the noisy stock wiper blades. Anybody else have this problem? Maybe mine are bent, since they only squeak on the upstroke? Will replacing them help or will the new ones just bend, and replace with stock or Bosch Micro Edge?

Default Best advice - clean your windshield.

Not just with Windex - get a glass stripper like NoTouch and get all of the road oils out of the pores in the glass. Keep the windshield clean and clean off the wiper blades regularly as well.

Never use a glass treatment like RainX on the front windshield - it will combine with road oils and make visibility far worse than before you started after a few days of rainy weather driving. RainX works fine on side windows and the rear, but not on the front.

If there is still even a slight issue at that point, go ask your deal for a new set - they will install them for free under your warranty.....

Default Have the dealer adjust them...

They have a tool that measures the angle of the blade against the windshield. Sounds like it is out of spec.

Default Clean your wipers with rubbing alcohol. You'll be amazed w/ how much grease comes off of them.

Default Clean your windows as Alan suggested, Plus

use a clay bar. This will get EVERYTHING off of your glass. But first, get a new set of refills from te dealer. These refills get old quickly.
