Default Hey! No worries, just an observation.

Doesn't really matter much to me. I'm actually waiting on some S4 ecodes which should have a hookup for the city lights (I think) in lieu of parking lights which would work better for me anyway (requires me to specifically select the switch position for the parking lights to run the city lights). We'll see.

Default Canadian DRL - should have read 01014 not 00014 :} Sorry 'bout that.

I just shut mine off for the summer and was looking carefully at the codes involved. I am back to 01013 now. Not sure exactly what the first 3 digits do on this code as they are not documented on the Ross-Tech site. The behavior you got certainly suggests they are not benign.

Default Thanks! Also, question/request...

I'll post that to my site's handy items bucket so I can retrieve it when needed.

Also, could you ping me with an email? I'd like to shoot a couple of questions back off-forum.

Thanks.

Default Your SA fed you some Grade-A BS there...

If they can alter the ecu for auto-locks then they can do anything else too. It's simply changing the programming characteristics of the locking system, it has NOTHING to do with the operations spec's of the car. Besides, if they were worried "programming" the locks would screw the car up then there wouldn't even be an option to do so in the first place. Geesh...these dealers need to get with it.
