Belltown: nothing like a huge brawl across the street at 2:30am to wake you up

There is a gyro/hookah/bar place across the street from my building. I've been in my building 2 months and there haven't been any problems but last night I hear someone screaming "fvck you motherfvcker, I'm going to kill you" and pop out of bed to see what is going on.

at least 10+ guys are in the middle of the street beating the sh!t out of each other. One guy is on the ground getting repeatedly kicked in the side and head. After a couple of minutes, things start to break up, but that guy on the ground is now laying there by himself in the middle of the street. Eventually he regains consciousnes, but there is a big pool of blood on the street, right where his head was...

Cops eventually come, but everything has died down at that point.

Hope this doesn't happen too often, they make some damn good gyros, would hate to see them go. Zaina at First & Ceder. Great food but watch out for fists late night.

your head out the window....bad habit. If you go to Western and Bell you will see a building with a plywood front..Some A$$ decided to jump out of his car, to beat some guy up, while leaving his car in drive. As he was pummeling this poor guy his car made its way in to our lobby destroying our main lobby entrance. After he realized that his car was no longer where he left it, he fired a couple rounds into the air as he pushed our door off the hood of his car and drove off into the night, later to be apprehended in Renton. It sounds like a Belltown kinda night. We have had two bullets hit our building in the past two years. AHHHHH city life...Maybe we should start a Belltown/Audi support group....I have that....Beer Night!

thankfully most of them don't actually live in the neighborhood.

I lived in lower queen anne before moving over to Belltown so knew that there would likely be more than a few nights where some sort of fight would break out nearby. Being a few blocks north of most of the core bar scene definitely helps.

I saw a couple other lights go one in our building last night, but no one out on their balcony.
