Likely.. there is a GOOD chance, the cop was wrong or wrote an incorrect ticket. Fight it. I doubt that you can't pass on the right like that....

Even if she got the pts on her license it still wouldn't be worth hiring a lawyer though.

Call the town prosecutor, and ask if he will accept a guilty plea for a non moving violation, the fine stays the same.. the town get's the income.
