Independent Audi Mechanics database (please read before posting)

I know many of us could use a good independent mechanic (NOT REFERRING TO TUNERS OR PERFORMANCE SHOPS WHICH MOST OF US ARE ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH) to do things like regular maintenance service and check ups, extended warranty work, mod installs, especially those of us that are out of warranty! What I'd like to start here is a database of good and highly recommended shops throughout ALL of SoCal -- from San Diego all the way up to lets say Bakersfield/San Luis Obispo area.

I'm looking for shops that can do everything, not specific jobs like brakes, or suspension, oil changes, but also diagnosis for car problems, clutch replacements, maybe even a turbo swap, or electrical work etc.

PLEASE do not crap or hijack this thread. Also I would appreciate it if we can all post in this format:

Of course, Mike and Kevan have my highest recommendation. Mike spent several years working for Porsche, then moved to Audi in the mid-eighties, then worked directly with the design groups in Germany. He is the only US technician ever to score perfectly on the tech challenge, having won the very first national competition himself. Mike finally opened his own shop about 15 years ago.

Work is first rate, and dealings are honest above all. Mike and Kevan are not afraid to innovate to make things work right.
