Default Goodbye old friend

The reason it now says SOLD is it's MINE.

All 230PS, pearl black 5 door, manual Golf GTI Edition 30. Brand new showing 5 miles on the clock.

I've only driven the stock 200PS GTIs and they were plenty quick enough. But to get the right interior & 18" wheels it was actually cheaper to get the Edition 30 which is also that much quicker.

I now have to frustratingly wait until March to get the car because I want it registered as an "08" & as we all know 2008 starts in March according to our mad registration plate system.

So having done 108492 miles in my 2001 A4 3.0QT I'm leaving the fold at the end of the month. Prior to my A4 I had had years of being provided with a company car - so she will always be special to me as I own her. An absolutely beautiful car which I will miss like an old friend.

But you lot won't get rid of me because vwworld is dead ;~)

Default congrats..can you revo chip this for even more?

does the ed 30 just have a bigger pipe or turbo? my buddy has a revo st1 chip for his DSG and its ALOT of fun with 275-290 tq or so, can only imagine that one.... =) question is how they managed to put down that power with the FWD....

Default not sure about the exact difference but

its more than just a chip. superchips.co.uk claim 300bhp.

Local opinion is that its a detuned S3 engine rather than a tuned up GTI

Default nice...sorta like a 4.2 allroad with a chain drive detuned S6/B6S4 engine
