![]() Ok, so no I couldn't wait to do this over the weekend as I found out that it was basically a painless installation process. Took me longer to disconnect the battery than to plug this little device in. Disconnected the battery to reset the throttle. The picture shows where it goes. Sorry if it's a little blurry but it was a bit of a difficult angle I was in. The device connects in between the plug and socket circled in the pic. So what do I think........ Throttle response is definitely quicker, it's instant, you do not feel more power, you do however feel the torque a lot sooner than before. I did not experience any awkwardness in the acceleration, and those concerned with the safey aspect...no worries here, it doesn't lurch or anything crazy like that. I do however, have to readjust my shifting a little because you will be shifting quicker in first and second (for us manual Ts) and another plus is that under heel and toe I was able to match my RPM's with better control than before (because obviously the pedal was slow to react). The initial feeling is similar to getting a low restriction aftermarket intake. Like the initial rev of the engine is not restricted whatsoever. Is it worth $250? I'm not 100% sure on that. It's a little steep for what you get out of it, it's in the vicinity of the performance compensation you get from a snub mount upgrade, not a chip. So what does that mean? It should be worth around $100. Maybe it's the price we have to pay to have to get it from accross the pond. Then again, to some of us it might not be too much money. So it boils down to each person's judgement on what it means to blow $250 bucks. For the track people, (I don't launch) it could be a solid investment, easily knocking off a couple of tenths. Any questions, please let me know. Thanks for all you guys that participated and if there's anyone in the north jersey area that wants to try it out, let me know. We can meet up somewhere and the transfer from one car to the another is very very easy.

It sounds very interesting... if there's one thing I could improve on my car it's that little tiny lag in the accelerator.
Of course, I'm not sure a little tiny lag is worth that much money to fix, but maybe it is...

Maybe in the spring. If the thing was cheaper, I would just buy it. Damn.
