if people stop associating sportiness with Audi.
Remember the VAG plan: VW=luxury, Audi=sporty. Sorry, I just wasn't impressed with the long snout, grill, and huge front overhang on the new A6. I could maybe picture my grandfather driving it, but not really myself.

I just feel that its much much more than sportiness. Luxury, class, sophistocation, sportiness, and probabably other things that ive forgotten, particularly in the A6. And w/o sportiness, Audi would be closter to Lexus rather than Lincoln or Cadillac.

Less luxurious/more sporty than Mercedes/Lexus
Less sporty/more luxurious than BMW/Infiniti

Many car companies would kill to have it's success record at racing, both past and present. It has its Auto Union history, it's Quattro history, and now its current phenomenal LeMans wins.

well.....which obviously isn't us, or we'd be A6 owners. Just because it doesn't look good to you doesn't mean it doesn't look good to someone else.
Now, if you don't like the new A4, then there's the problem. I remember when the B6 came out and I was guoted saying that I didn't like it because it looked too much like a big fat A6. Well, we know how that turned out.
