Default Oil sludge letter from AOA

I just received a letter from AOA.
They acknowledge oil sludge problem and extend engine warranty related to oil sludge to 8 years.
They have included a list of approved oil that meet VW 502.00 standard.
All listed are SYNTHETIC.
My dealer is using petroleum based oil in my 1.8T...

Default Oh, yeah, baby! Kendall GT-1 makes the list. But...

...the list is alphabetically sorted and not by quality. Anything about using larger oil filters?

Kenall is King!

Larger oil filter used to reduce sludge

Why you use synthetic...
