I purchased a pre-cut kit from www.invinca-shield.com. These are the two kits:
Kit 220 for Audi A4 Optional Pieces for Audi A4 The video I watched is on this site too. Trying to line up the larger pieces to the body was a little difficult. The pieces didn't fit perfectly. You can stretch the material a little to fit, but it took some getting used to. You have to set one side (squeegee out the slip solution) first. And if the piece wasn't lined up right, you had to carefully remove the piece without getting finger prints on it or over-stretching it. The hardest part was doing complex curves like the valleys in the hood and the mirrors... a lot of trial and error. I did my father's X5 after mine and it was much harder to do. A lot more complex curves. I used this site for most of my research: PPF forum Awesome site with a wealth of knowledge. Google Paint Protection Film and most of the sites that sell the stuff have tutorials and tips. The best tips I can offer are: 1. Wrap the squeegee with paper towels before touching the PPF film with it. (BOUNTY!!! They're soft and lint free). The film scratches easy. If you buy from invinca-shield.com they send you an install kit, I suggest going to a tint shop or vinyl sign shop and picking up one of these too. I also used one of these, it bends much more than the other two. Use whichever you feel more comfortable with. Also get a California Water Blade. They are good for doing large flat pieces and gentle curves. 2. Keep your hands wet with either the slip solution (whatever ratio they call for) or with the alcohol/water (50:50) solution. This prevents finger prints on the adhesive side. 3. Use a hairdryer when doing the complex curves to warm the PPF so it shapes easier. Don't use a heat gun unless you can control the heat from it. I have a variable setting gun, but even the lowest heat setting was too hot. 4. Don't get too worked up about air-bubbles in the film after applying. Purchase some insulin needles from a pharmacy. They will question why you need them and make you fill out a form. As long as you are honest with them, they'll sell them to you. Just don't go in ripped jeans and wife-beater with you hair a mess and hyperventilating!!! Bend the needle just a little to help get into the side of the bubble and suck the water/air out while using the squeegee to press the film down from the other side. 5. When squeegeeing, spray some slip on top of the film to help glide the tool. 6. When you have to cut a peice to fit better, cut on the car. After mounting the peice, use a very sharp blade (the thinner the blade the better) and ONLY SCORE THE FILM... DO NOT CUT THROUGH THE FILM. All you have to do is score the film and it will tear exactly where you scored it. They make blades that have a depth setting called the Messer Micro, but I can't find it on the net. 7... I could go on forever. If you still want to tackle this yourself, I'll give you a good write-up with pics. If not, I understand, installing this was more involved then I expected. Good luck if you plan on doing it yourself and sorry for the long-a$$ post. Most important of all, use discount code "tc240" if you decide to buy from www.invinca-shield.com. It'll save you 20%.

I'll also add:
Use Microfiber towels for cleanup before and after. If you do happen to get particles under the film, just peel away the film if it is close to the edge. If not, use a blade and cut a small slit above the particle, and pull the piece out. In both cases, let the film set a minute or two to let the film relax from stretching it before pressing it into place.
