I really want to give it some shine but I don't know how. Basically, I don't know anything about an approporiate car washing procedure.
whenever I washed my cars on the weekends, I just soaped, washed the car, and applied the liquid nano wax via hand. What kind of products should I purchase for my 02 ming blue? and what kind of procedures should I take in order to make it shine like everyone elses on this forum? Any inputs are welcomed! |

First, check out "Troy's Guide to Car Care Nirvana" (the link is at the top, left of this forum).
Next, check out the following web site: www.autopia-carcare.com. They've got several online tutorials I've found very helpful. If that's not enough, here's another: www.carcareonline.com. They also have a number of online tutorials. Great place to purchase the tools you will need (a Porter Cable polisher will eventually end up in your garage -- might as well buy it sooner than later) is the forum sponsor, Detailer's Paradise (link at the top, right of the forum). Another good place to shop which carries a few items not available at DP is www.properautocare.com. Good luck and welcome to the obsession called car care. BTW, You do know about Stoney's Links, right? GREAT resource for A6 owners. Check my sig for the URL if you need it. Definitely worth a bookmark.
