X-post: I found 2 ohm component speakers

I found these 2 ohm 6.5 components, Im thinking they will work well with my factory bose system in the rear deck since mine are blown, and they are pretty cheap at $119. These are the only 2 ohm speakers I have ever found, most are 4 ohm, besides the oem bose, which are ridiculously expensive, so I thought I would share my find.

...when I built a system a few years back. I used the 4 ohm units, but ImageDynamics speakers are very, VERY good.

If I were still doing systems in my cars, it's all I'd use.

...my big system in the Integra featured the 6.4 components up front, the 6.4 mid-bass only in the rear panels and 3 10" DVC subs (sealed) in the back.

With PPI amps and some other stuff, they were just smooth as glass. My first system was Boston Pro's & Boston subs with Rockford amps...more power and good, but it couldn't hold a candle to the IDQ/PPI combo for quality and quiet.

Like I said, the IDQ stuff is, for the money, VERY difficult to beat. I know JL Audio has a good rep for subs, but I'd never use anything but ID.

My 2 cents.
