Default GT30R vs. GT35R for 2.2 liters


It got reduced by the Audiworld picture upload thingy. Try saving it and blowing it up.

I tried to make both maps about the same scale size-wise for visual purposes. It then put some points on it based on some math from an Excel file I have.

My math may be wrong, but still, both of these turbos are freakin' HUGE. I mean I knew that, but still, after plotting the points, jeez. I didn't do this to make anyone right or wrong, it was for my own edification, as I am planning a GT30R on my next rebuild. Just thought I'd share. 2.6 liters doesn't look like a bad idea..

Either/both files (excel and .Jpg) can be gotten from me. I wouldn't mind it if one of you Young Geniuses (or an old one) looked at the math. I have sent the excel file out to many a math guy, and I had a pressure and feed specialist here at the Rocket Engine design facility I work at look at it, but the more eyes the merrier. Mail to:

Default Doesnt that put the GT35 near or at stalling of the turbine? GT30 looks better eh?
