I currently own a 1993 s4 with several minor modifications, including a stromung exhaust and adjustable bypass valve. I am interested in the Stage IV kit from Intended Acceleration. I spoke to Ned on the phone, and he provided me with lots of valuable info. Now I am looking for someone who has actually installed this kit ( IA 2.5 bar computer mod, RS turbo and manifold) Since the total price is around $3,500, I am looking for comments about this modification. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Dont forget even if you are pushing 400HP with say a Garrett T04E/K26 plus all the RS2 goodies you still NEED:
Brakes Suspension Wheels Tires Hoses Clutch All which will add up to more then $3500 bucks even if you save $500 bucks with the Garrett.. The car has to be able to stop and turn w/ all this power ;-)

And after you get done playing with all that new HP, doing burnouts and such, figure in a tranny just for grins.
As you said, power is only 1 piece... |

What do you get for 3500$ exactly? A computer mod (2 chips actually as you already have the 2.5 Bar sensor) a turbo and a manifold?
A 2.5 Bar computer mod is considered as a "minor" mod and 320HP is the minimum you can get out of an RS2 turbo.. oh, now I see, he'll probably want to sell you his Stage V or VI in a few months for an additional 500 or more $? My opinion is forget this, way too much buck for the bang. A brand new RS2 turbo and manifold cost 2000$ at Europrice www.euro-audi-parts.com and you even get a gasket set for that price, and please don't tell me 2 chips cost 1500$, this is what I call a stupid investment! 2 chips might cost 1500$ in development cost but Ned's chips didn't cost that much and have been recouped for long enough... Call or send Alex at Europrice an email and you'll see that nothing is as expensive as you thought it would be with Ned. And he might also have proper software for you, I dunno. HTH and please take your time to think before yanking 3500$ when you could just as well spend 2700 or less... Mihnea

I see your previous rides, curious as to how they all match up> Just sold my A4 1.8t, thinking of s Ur-S-Car, I am really interested in some reassurance that I will be happier with it.

I have absolutely no business affiliation with Europrice, I just know Alex for years through the q-list.
