Default Key Stuck in Ignition...

The last few months I have had some bad problems with my 1995 Audi 90 Sport. But now the key is stuck in the ignition. It is in park, and the steering wheel is not locked. I am wondering why this is happening. Im thinking the tumblers are wearing.. Does anybody know a way to get the key out? I am currently using another key to lock the car. Help!!

Default You will need to dismantle the ignition key assembly to remove! ;O)

Possibly even have to have it replaced, keys and all, if you cant get the key out after disassembly? :O(

Default I talked with a mechanic about it and he said the tumbler's are wearing...

Is it best to just reinstalled the ignition with new keys or just get the tumblers replaced.

(But who can trust mechanics :P)

Default I think I posted the same solution? ;O)

You could actually attempt to fix your current ignition tumblers, but this greatly depends on how bad off they are, once you get the part off the car! ;o)

I removed mine once, cleaned it, lubed it, and it worked much better afterwards!
