I needed a college beater car since I'm going to be loaning my A4 to my parents for a while. Was looking for Audi 90CS, CSq and Coupe Quattros in the $4-6000 price range. Chanced upon a 1993 Audi 90CS locally (Just around the corner in Arlington, VA) and ended up buying it. The first owner bought it up in Greenwich, CT at Pray Audi for $29,465.00 including $320 for the Winter Package, and $445 for Destination. The 90CS was then sold to an older gentleman in NY who kept it up until last year. He developed arthritis in his shifting knee and gave the car to his son, who ended up selling it to me for $4,150.
The car is a 1993 Audi 90CS 4-door sedan (#2389), Crystal Silver Clearcoat Metallic, with Platinum Leather Interior. Comes with the All-Weather package, as well as Sunroof and Infared Remote. Car currently has 146,765 miles on the 12 valve 2.8 liter V6. Major maintance was performed 2-3 months ago to the tune of $3,100, including: AC system conversion to R134a, new Thermostat, Water Pump, Oil, T-Belt, Tensioner, Pulley, Serpentine belt, both Lower Ball joints, CV boot, and one of the catalytic converters, along with some smaller parts. Paint is in very good shape... need to give it a good detail to bring the clearcoat out nicely. Only parts that need to be replaced currently are the front grille (had to be cut to allow for the hood to be opened at some point when latch broke) and the lower trim on the drivers door (see picture) Overall a good city car for someone stepping down from a 240hp A4 for a bit. Current mod plans are small.... replace stock grille with a Kamei mesh grille and add Audi rings, replace front blinkers with clear corners, and add some 17 inch wheels (Looking for used/like new preferably, so if you have some, let me know.) The radio I'm not sure about... if I can find a very cheap in-dash CD Player that matches the lighting pretty well I'll get one. I know I'll need to replace the speakers as well... so I don't want to go overboard on this car. The car comes with 15" alloy wheels with all-season tires (Continental ContiTouring Contact CH95 195/65HR15)... and also a seperate set of steel wheels with brand new winter tires (Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice 225/60QR15 95Q). So here are the pictures.... enjoy! ![]() -Engine Bay showing the venerable 12v V6 engine ![]() -Side shot of engine bay showing sticker for r134a refridgerant conversion. ![]() -Front left quarter shot ![]() -Rear left quarter shot (the Arnette sticker will be removed) ![]() -Large trunk... ![]() -Nice leather back seats... more legroom than the A4! ![]() -Interior dash with 4-spoke leather steering wheel, auto climate control, Gamma radio ![]() ![]() -Lower door trim on driver's door showing how its coming off. ![]() -View of interior... 8-way power seats and floor mats that need to be shampooed ![]() -Front of the car showing stock grille and heated washer nozzles. ![]() -Front comparision of my A4 to the 90. ![]() -Another front comparision of my A4 to the 90. ![]() -Rear comparision of my A4 to the 90. |

I have yet to see a used Audi 90 that doesn't have green coolant in it. Also maybe delete the pin-stripe?
