I just puchased the SeViC Vision Libery Combo 1 Entertainment System for my 1 year old rear seat passenger.
I was looking for a car DVD player and ran through the gamet of solutions from $500 to $3G's. Anyway, I decided on this system for $499 and am very satified with it. It is portable so you can take it with you in any car - works well when you're on vacation and have to rent a car. Plus you don't have to cut into you headrest or sacrifice safety when you're in a major accident and need that extra cushion from your headrest!Pictures below: Stats: - 7" 16:9 TFT Monitor with integrated DVD/MPEG4/CD/CD-RW/CD-R and Picture CD - Resolution 480x234 (sounds low but the picture is clear, bright and detailed - watched several movies on it myself) - Infrared transmitter for wireless headphones - Built in Stereo speakers - Headphone, Video out, Digital Audio Out(optical) jacks - Rechargeable battery - Remote control - Cigarette lighter adapter ![]() ![]()

Looks like an inexpensive solution. I assume you need one for each passenger (child)....

![]() Bought this off internet here: http://www.dvgrip.com/. And here it is in use as we fly down PA Turnpike to beach 2 weeks ago. First trip where we had no tears either way. Snaps in and out easily to retrieve sippy cups etc. Moves from car to car. I really liked it. |

Respectfully submitted: Do our children have to be entertained all the effing time!?!? Can they not look out the window? Can they not talk to us? Cant we talk to them? Music anyone? If you have to resort to rigging the back seat as if it were a frigging Disney Magic Kingdom playhouse ... something"s wrong. Very wrong. (all imho)

...and don't take this the wrong way (i didn't take your comments personally...particularly since you provided imho, etc) BUT;
1. Do you have kids? 2. Do you take them on long car rides? if yes to numbers 1 and 2 3. Have you ever driven 8.5 hours with a child that got an ear infection at the beach and was inconsolable? Just wondering. |
