Line out converter needed or no?

I want to splice into the rear line outs coming from a concert II bose headunit in my TT. I was told that i would not need a line out converter since these wires are running on the correct frequency and I can just splice in RCA cables. Is this right?

Do the rear line outs go to the bose amp even though it does not use them?

All Bose units use a 4 ch amp for front and rear see pic:
