Sub/Amp Setup 2

What are more people running - 1x10" sub, 1x12" sub, 2x10" sub or 2x12" subs...what amp(s) are you running with your setup?

I remember reading somewhere that you tried a carputer install but had trouble with heat. I also remember that you wanted to get the 'puter to boot when you unlocked the doors....I was wondering how you were gonna do that? I too am doing a 'puter install, and i think that the remote turn on is a GREAT idea, especially since powering on a computer is jsut a momentary switch. Any insights you have into doing this would be much appreciated

Maybe you were thinking of using an aftermarket alarm system......hrmmmm....

hey! yes it was me. i got busy with work and family so i decided to postpone the idea. yes, the only 'safe way' is through an aftermarket alarm setup. my idea got somewhat derailed because i didn't really want to mess with the factory immobilizer. you could try researching on mp3car.com for more info.

i still haven't backed out of my carputer install. i am going to wait till Nov or so when new mobile Mp3/Mpeg products come out to decide if this idea is worth a 2nd shot.
