Default Why did u guys choose premium over sport?...

for me, it was the spoiler.
I really disliked the spoiler on a sportback.
Oh, and I prefer the premium rims over the bi-colored.

Default I liked the seats better, and knew I was doing an aftermarket suspension...

The sport suspension wasnt enough of a difference for me, and I had to have a power seat. With those factors (plus wanting the convenience package) the premium was a much better buy for me.

Default My main reasons were ...

1. Conv + BiXenon (I had to have both)
2. Lumbar support
3. Less aluminum (I know I'm weird)

Default Man I think the best part of sport pkg is the seats. They are so much better than those narrow A4 B6

Style seats. Hell they are even better than the GTI seats

IMO

Default I find sport seats to get uncomfortable on long drives (not just the A3's) and power lumbar is a nec

Default Lack of aluminum I felt was the biggest down side.

Default Power seats with a wider range of adjustment. Besides, the roads here are rubbish (worst in country)

Default I actually like less aluminum as well. Less distracting.

Default Seats, trim, mirror, homelink, trip computer, etc.

There isn't a huge difference in ride between the two. What makes the biggest difference is the tires, which have a much stiffer sidewall and improved grip. There is slightly less body roll, but not much difference.

I can say this because I made a deal when purchasing mine to get the sport style wheels and tires instead of the premium rims/rubber. I've drive an A3 w/ sport back to back with my premium with the sport tires, and the difference is minor.

That said, I wanted what the premium offered more than what the sport offered. If I did it again though I'd get both packages.
