![]() Sorry about the bad link on the previous one; hope it works this time. I did a quick cut-and-paste scan job with the A4 info in the April 2000 Consumer Reports issue, to cover the basic review, crash test results, and reliability survey results. Sorry it isn't prettier (or sharper in resolution), but I was just thinking about the content. I hope it's legible for everyone. Since questions about reliability, etc. come up fairly often here, this might be a good thing to bookmark for future reference. I included "average car" and 3-series BMW reliability info too, for comparison. Rick

Judging from the chart, the 98 and 99 should be more reliable than the 97. Just curious since I have a 97.

I have used CR for alot of buys over the years but haven't looked since buying my '99.5 1.8T. Nice to see all those red spots for a vehicle that has been wonderful so far. Thanks for the reprint.
