I'll summarize it for non French speakers:
The model tested is the one with the new 140bhp TDI!
Here are the comments:
+ style!
+ engine (2.0 TDI)
+ manual transmission
+ quality
+ equipment
+ cargo, rear room
+++ handling!
- engine a bit loud (TDI)
- brakes a bit undersized (apparently they had a lot of (too much) fun with the TDI...)
- - - - price!

Overall, the impression was overwhelmingly positive! There is just the price... 24kEuros - 31kEuros... aaaarghhhh

Thanks mate! I wish a few UK online car review magazines/programmes did something like this. Although my bandwidth isn't that great(wide?), the quality was pretty decent.

I don't know why they are shocked at the price. It's not too different from the price of the old model. At least not here in the UK (assuming they are not much more that the Euro price); perhaps Audi have realigned prices upwards so that the rest of Europe pay the same extortionate prices as us Brits!
