Default This weekend's project....

Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator, Ross Machine Racing Fuel Rail, Split Second AFC, and Ford MAF.

I just finished up installing the fuel rail, getting the lines to fit is a huge PITA (and I broke a few things in the process, of course)
I'd take some pics, but it's too dark out now.

MAF and AFC go in tomorrow, I've got to figure out the curve differences. The stock element in a 3" housing flows 850 kg/hr (236g/s) at 5.1 Volts. The Ford MAF flows 850 kg/hr at 4.0 Volts.
It flows 1150 kg/hr (320g/s) at 4.4 volts, so I've got a TON of headroom with this meter, I just hope it works

Default The regulator, rail, and AFC can be bought no problem...

the lines will have to be custom done, and the MAF is a one-off for now.

Default Looks good john

I also went with a FPR unit like that but with a custom fuel rail that dynamic racing solutions made. I am just waiting for them to send some pics of the full setup and I will then have paul host and post them.

BTW did you use a J fitting at the front end of the rail to connect to the fuel line?

Default Here's the MAF voltage chart.....

Blue line is stock element in 3" housing (above 5 volts in guesstimated)

Pink line is Ford MAF (above 4.4 is guesstimated), yellow line is Ford MAF modified with SS AFC. Looks pretty close to me

I leveled it off at 5.8 Volts, Vref on the ECU is 5.5 V, so anything above that is useless. (I've datalog'd the stock MAF to 6V)

Default The front of the rail is plugged off.....

I only have a single feed in the back of the rail coming from the regulator.

RMR suggested I go to a dual line setup if I was going to be running 550-600hp, but I don't think I'll be hitting that power range for quite some time. I'd probably have to upgrade all the fuel lines for that power range too.

Default Ok I think I get the picture

So you have the fuel supply line, fuel rail and return fuel line all connected directly to the regulator?

Default Yep. The regulator has a port for the fuel pressure gauge, so that's hooked up also.

Default Nice.....one of the things that I love about the SE-R is that..

a standard Apexi AFC can convert any nissan maf for use on my car. My stock sensor is an HW6 which tops out around 220 whp unbored. The z32 maf is an HW2 sensor and has resolution up to 500 hp. A simple menu of maf input: 2, maf output: 6 is all that it takes within the AFC to convert the MUCH larger Z32 maf to my ECU's liking
