What's your prefered GALA setting? Factory default is at 3, I change it to 4. Yours?

The GALA number is the maximum number of dB that the volume will increase as you reach highway speed. It's about 1 dB every 12 mph or so.

It is hard to hear and is easiest to notice when slowing down fast from highway speeds.

Somewhere in the archives it says how to turn on the graphic display -- I think it's hold down station button "2" while powering up the radio, but I don't remember for sure.

I didn't think it worked at all, so I set it to "7", which is max on my 2000 1.8 Avant. Now it works OK, and I like it.
