Default ah the curse words, but no bent sheet metal out of anger. Good man! And why >>

I no longer tinker with the belly side of cars.
There is at least one dent in the ol' TR that resulted from anger turned into rage!

Default I as SO close on several occasions, but it's not the TT's fault. I did completely flatten the

power steering line clamp with a 4 lb hammer. Took a few chips out of the concrete, but no TT damage.

Default I figured that's what it was - is this after >

the dealer replacement of the original swaybar (done for me/most under warranty); still a need to replace bushes, or is this an upgrade, and has it solved the knocking question?

Default I never had a squeak problem but others have. I did this pre-emptively as my control

arms were out. I haven't hit the road with it yet, but I know it won't solve my "clicking" problem (that's related to rotary motion somehow) - I don't have a "knocking" problem (that I know of).

Default I had better luck not removing the bushing clamps all the way...

but instead unbolting them and tipping them back as far as I could. Then pulling/tearing the old bushing out and forcing the new bushing in after breaking the sleeve. The C-clamp was a good idea; slipping the bushing clamp back over the new bushing is the hardest part.

Another great writeup Mike. Are those one-time-use or stretch-bolts that hold the clamps?

Default Not stretch bolts to my knowledge, would not really be needed in this application. I don't have any

torque specs, either - just make 'em tight ; )

I was missing that clamp. Had to use needlenose pliers, a well rested hand, and some swearing.
