Default Pics from Hallett. It was a great track. Very technical. I learned a lot. Had a >>>

blast!

Pic of Gil tearing up the track with his instructor TTagz (Jeff).

The grid area and pit in.

Gil running behind me. Was he passing or did he get passed? Gill or Jeff may wanna chime in...

Terry was my instructor for the weekend and was a great instructor. He survived my novice driving skills and didn't scream like most of my passengers.

The car all packed and ready to continue on the journey.
- 4 track tires - wheels / check
- helmet / check
- two weeks worth of luggage / check
- misc stuff bought at track / check
- driver / now where is that driver?

The driver was later found the next day at the lake fishing.

Fresh catch! Nothing like fresh fish.

All the photos can be found at the ol' TTgallery .

The car held up great. My instructor was impressed with the handling of the lil' TT.

If you ever get a chance to participate in a HPDE (high performance driver's education) event, DO! The things you learn, the people you get to hang out with, and the drive all makes it worth every penny. If not HPDE, then try Autocross. The skills learned at autoX transfer well to HPDE (in my opinion, you should autoX prior to participating in an HPDE).

See the rest of you guys at TTwest in a few days! Colorado here I come.

Meeting up with Schwing and the crew in the am...

Default I'll be there this weekend

working in the tech barn and grid. If anyone wants to stop by and check out the motorcycles racing there, let me know. Sunday is the best day as Saturday will be an endurance race and the pit area is closed during the race.

Default You coming to Barber, right? Oh, and I agree with what you say about>>

how most people who drive the TT on a track love it. Added one more to that list at Road Atlanta this year-- get this-- I let a very seasoned Porsche Club instructor who owns a full track set-up 944 take my car out. He comes back all giddy asking me how much I paid for it used, etc... I let another person take it out (he's driven it several times before), back to back with a GT2... I overheard him telling someone that "the GT2 was awesome but still not as fun as Chris' TT." WHOA!!!!
