the car. He said on the TT it would have to be reprogramed by the computer??? Anybody got a clue?

as it turns out is was on the TT
you may want to give it a shot post a follow-up to tell us how it went (orig post linked below) Step 1) With one key, turn the ignition switch on. Don't start the car, just turn the ignition on so the instrument cluster lights up. Step 2) Open the window. Not neccesary, just a safety precaution to keep from locking the keys in the car :-) Step 3) Close the driver door and lock it with the other key. Step 4) Hold down both the Lock and Unlock buttons on the remote for a few seconds (may be upt to five seconds). After a couple of seconds you should get the honk and flashing lights. Step 5) Open the door with the key, and turn off the ignition. Your remote should now work. |
