Default possible solution for those running race cats or test pipes (provided by gesTTalt)

Other than getting your rear O2 turned off through programming, you'll get a cel. Electronic O2 sims don't work well with TTs. I test piloted Casper Electronics sims with little or no success. I had Garrett tune my GIAC chip, and Hans Dahlback did the same for my Dahlback chip - ran a HJS 100 Cell race cat or test pipe, no cel

Now, that I have a S2000, I wanted to run a test tipe. I've been using a mechanical O2 simulator/bypass. It consists of two sparkplug anti foulers. This method is used by many EVO and Subbies guys.

You take one of the antifoulers, drill the hole to approx 1/2", which allows the center of the O2 to fit. This one screws directly onto the O2 sensor. You then screw the second anti fouler on top. This brings the O2 sensor out of the exhaust pathway, as well as the smaller opening allows only some of the exhaust to contact the O2 sensor.

I've been running a test pipe on my S2K for over 12K mile with no CEL. I'm pretty sure this will work for the TT.

Make sure you get the correct thread pattern for the TT O2 sensor. The antifouler are available at pretty any local auto store.

Enjoy!!!

Default part numbers for gray -> black "headliner" plastics swap

recently, some folks have been interested in converting to alcantara headliners. if you're looking to switch to a dark alcantara headliner, but currently have gray cloth, you'll need to update the plastics as well to get a good overall theme.

here the part numbers needed to change all the plastics from gray to black. note that none of the wholly cloth parts (e.g., headliner itself, pillars, ...) are included under the assumption that folks doing this will have an interior shop convert those (e.g., to black or charcoal alcantara):

8N8 947 111 6PS interior reading light
8N0 959 719 6PS garage door opener switch
-- or -- 8N8 951 299A 6PS third visor
4B0 857 562 4PK (x2) bracket for sun visor
4B0 857 563 4PK (x2) cover cap for sun visor
895 857 621 4PK (x2) cover cap for sun visor
8N8 857 551D 15F sun visor (left)
8N8 857 552D 15F sun visor (right)
8N8 867 991D 6PS hatch trim panel
