Naturally of course, no instructions, but really easy - about an hour, maybe one and a half from start to finish, IF you have all the tools...

Rear seats out - I can post on this if need be, but not too much of a problem at all.

Evetything came really well packed - great!

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2982.jpg">

Stuff all laid out:

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2986.jpg">

This sending box needs to be relocated to one of the braces; only thing I actually needed to re-use any parts for, just the original mounting nuts.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2989.jpg">

Support braces in.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2990.jpg">

This piece needed cutting and a support brace (or through - bolts would work) for my FWD - no problem on quattro.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2993.jpg">

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2994.jpg">

Net and bridge trim in place.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2995.jpg">

Almost done! Had to run out for supplies...

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn2998.jpg">

Actually, I needed to run out for an extra-deep 17mm socket to pull the seat latch pins.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn3000.jpg">

The bar drops on - this connection is extremely nicely detailed - adjustable pin-bolt with slotted head mates to groove in bar end, then through bolted with concealed torx, all hidden by the escutcheon. The aluminum escutcheons slide on TIGHT - they use an o-ring for fit.

ATTENTION - this shot was taken with the screw in from the rear - actually it should be placed into the connection from the passenger's compartment side.

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn3001.jpg">

This is the way the car should have come, base, AND THEN maybe a $1500 add for a back seat option...

NOT the other way around. Good Miesians, those Audiots, "Less is more, and more ($) for Less..."!

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn3004.jpg">

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn3006.jpg">

Another detail:

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn3010.jpg">

Ha Ha! "leftover parts?" (actually, I was sent stuff that also came with other parts, so there was some duplication - the only expensive ones were the escutcheons).

<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/53277/dscn3008.jpg">

That be it!

$1500. And remember, to my door, complete. No aggravation, no farting around. Done.

That looks fantastic! How's the material match between the seat delete and trunk floor?

Thx - looks really 'right' in person, too; also, more functional for me.
