Suggest you allow decimals in input box for offset

e.g. ECS offers 17.5 mm thick spacers

looks perfect from this angle, but from the back it looks a touch too aggressive:

i should have a pic of 8.5ET16 rear next week when my hre's arrive -- but that's only a millimeter so that's probably not too big a deal.

i'd update the offset calculator to consider 8.5ET22 and 8.5ET16 to be "flush", and once you do that i'll update my original post to be consistent, and i'll also toss in the second pic i posted here.

I need 13MM in front, whereas I am currently running 15MM. Do you think that 2MM would cause my rubbing problems to go away (pull the wheel inside the wheel well enough)?

Also, do you remember back when I have the Projectzwo P2 wheels, you had calculated that my wheel might be rubbing on the inside on the coilover adjustment shaft thing, and indeed I was. Will I have the same problem as that if I change to the 13MM spacers?

if so, backing off to a 13mm spacer should be fine (if you can find one -- common sizes are 8, 10, 12, and 15).

backing it off 2mm may not fix your rubbing problems but that's where i'd start.

how about including both pics and saying something like:

The photos on the right show his 8.5" wide BBS LMs with ET20 in front and ET17 in the rear. Since then, additional data collecting has shown ET22 front, ET16 rear to be a "safe" FLUSH setup, with few rubbing problems even on aggressively lowered cars.
<p>
This setup will be considered FLUSH to fenders and will be used as a baseline for all calculations below. The stock 7.5" wheel with ET32 is also given as a comparision.
