Default is it me, or does the optional Audi front chin spoiler....

look really cheap out of the box, I put it up on my car just to see how it looked on the lift. Kinda looks real crappy. Especially where the 2 bars come down on the front center. You can obviously see the space overlapping the original bumper... Plus.. GLUE IT ON! has anyone bolted it on instead. Im not sure Im a big fan of gluing things on a TT.

thanks all!

betweeen mine on the front from where body shop filled in. As for glueing it on I have had no problems with that feature.

Default there's a tiny gap after installation

I used 3M windshield adhesive in a caulk tube for a good bead and I think it looks great

I did it one afternoon and didn't have a very difficult time

Default nope, it sucked. Get some good 3M adhesive, and tape it in place. Cures in 12-18 hrs

Default I just finished priming mine and have mounted it. There is a tgap. To solve this lift on the bottom.

I am going to put 4 3" bolts with washers connecting the bottom of the new and old spoilers. This will lift it. Then I will use the 3M window adhesive to fill the tiny gap which is left. I MAY also use a file to SLIGHTLY modify where the old one meets the new one.

Default A question... This front chin spoiler can be adhered to the front bumper out of the car?
