Default Status of 3.2 TT mod #2 = COMPLETE !!! :-)

Here are a few pictures of the OEM rack mounting procedure I just completed:

1. Open slots & insert the 4 provided stickers to protect the paint:

2. Place OEM rack on top of slots:

3. This is the rack installed with the "flaps" opened:

4. Bolt in provided screws in each slot:

5. Rack installed without add-ons:

6. Snowboard rack installed on top of OEM base rack:

Tahoe, here I come!!

-Marc :-)

Default Careful of your rear hatch glass too...>>

Apparently too many people were opening the hatches into their ski's, bike racks, etc and taking out the glass. I guess the "stupid stickers" didn't work....probably why Audi dropped this accessory...

Default Too late Steve ;-)

Thank God I have a snowboard, because it were skis I would have had a broken glass already!!

I did open the hatch in a slight hurry and didn't notice how far/low the snowbard went.. good thing it was pointing upwards, so the glass actually bent the snowboard upwards without breaking..

Phew!!
