Default Schmitt's Garage - Buffalo

It has been a while since I have posted, but I figured this required me to come back. I have had many issues with John Holtz Audi (Rochester). It finally came to a head when John Holtz(Owner) himself couldn't even be bothered to help. A couple calls to AoA and I am done with them.

So I went to the next closest dealer which is Schmitt's Garage in Buffalo. Let me say the service is 100% different. They were nice, and quick and even called me to tell me my car was done. All by early afternoon. I had to actually question the guy about all the work I had done because I couldn't believe that they had completed it in such a short time. Sure enough in about 6hrs they managed to fix my drivers mirror, 40k service, test my boost/vacuum leak, replace some light bulbs and clean it. I was simply amazed. I know this might sound like standard service to most of you on this list. But when you have been dealing with A**holes like Holtz for 3yrs this all comes as a shock. Anyways, I am very pleased and will definatly be returing.

Also got to look at the new A8L, mmmm pretty car.

Default One more thing...

My temp needle is ever so slightly wrong. Like 3/4 of a notch. They said I need entire new cluster, and were even offering to overnight it.

In comparison, I had Holtz order 2 plastic gromets to cover the cell phone holder holes when I bought the car. They said 3 weeks cause they didn't like shipping such small parts. 6 weeks later I final ordered them from Clair Parts.

Default No.. I'd say what you described about Holtz is "standard service" for most of us.

Default When I lived in Rochester in the early 80s I bought

A car at Lou Holtz, John's brother ,service was just as bad back then. I would ride a horse first before I would ever buy a another car from them. Once you drove away they acted like they never knew you.
