Default Rear Valence Removal Instructions

First of all, this pic shows the OEM valence removed.
I used a floor jack on the tow hook point on the right to jack up the car a bit.

Yes, ths point is heavy-duty enuf to take jacking.

You don't hafta get the whole rear off the ground, just raise up the rear bumper a bit so you don't bang your head.

Center arrow points to the "alignment" slot.
You'll see.

Get a rug to lie on, and on your back, under the valence, you will see 2 torx screws, T-20's.
Remove 'em.

Use the same driver on the ends of the valence to push in the center of the button here.
Push it all the way through and out. You can get the center 'shaft' of the button easily from the inside.

Once you get the center shaft out, the button will separate easily from the support pieces. You will then need to remove this from the valence to re-use it on the new one.

Work your hand around the inside of the OEM valence here, and it will start to separate from the bumper fascia.

Once you get under the center section, you can pull the valence away form the bumper fascia, and look up into the back of it.
You will see these 'tab's. This is the center align tab that is longer than the others.

Don't just pull the valence along, as you may tear out the slots. Get inside with your hand and squeeze these tabs as you pull on the valence. They will release easily.

Once the OEM valence is off, you may want to take some time to clean up the area inside, and clean your after-market exhaust.

You do have an after-market exhaust don't you?

Putting the new valence on then is so easy, I didn't take a pic of it.

Use the longer align tab on the new valence to start with, and center it in the middle slot.

Use the palm of your hand to snap all the tabs in place.

Replace the plastic rivets, push the center shafts into place, push them flush, replace the Torx screws.
Use a good cleaner, like Stoners Trim Shine on it.
Done.

Default Is the 3.2 Rear Valance real Carbon Fiber or just a look alike?

Default No, it more closely resembles the front lower "mesh," but is solid
