Default Out of warranty I take it...I would look to spend 3-400 plus labour

I could be wrong though...perhaps others will chime in...

Default If the after-market parts are avail, that cost could be lower...

Our '96 A4 after-market CV axle was under $200 a side.
They just replace the whole half-shaft.
Ain't no real big reason to buy Audi parts at more than 2X the cost.
Installation was less than $100 per side also.

Default CV joint, check the boots immediately and don't

ride it too long without getting it fixed. from experience
