I've heard, from a friend who new a guy, that some TT owners modify (or, "mod") their cars. I'm sure that's not anybody here.
Yeah, right. Anyway... Are there any mods that you regret doing? Maybe something that didn't work as well as you hoped, or that you re-modded afterwards? Or, for those who don't mod, any factory options you'd do differently? Self-reponse: I've actually been pretty happy. If I had to pick something (and I guess I don't), I might go with my Forge license plate frame. If I lived someplace with less weather, I might just chuck it and the plate covers, so as to have a simpler look. Also, if upgraded wheels hadn't been part of a package for 2001 models, I wouldn't have done that, and used the money for aftermarkets. Last week's results: Looks like most people do have another car, although not necessarily to keep the miles off the TT. Interesting mix of cars, but I saw lots of Audi and VW in there.

the new suspension... Bilsteins/ABT's.
I love it... My freinds all hate it. They say it's too rough (stiff) when we are riding around in the city and hitting all these damn potholes. Too bad!! :-) Hi Steve! How's things? R and I want to do a visit some Thurs/Fri in March.

Suckered myself into paying almost 5 Franklins with shipping for an OEM roofrack with ski attachment. I will seldom use these and should have put the money into better wine for the cellar or something that would actually make me enjoy my car even more.
