Default as w/ any mod...feeling a little nervous about tackling the dieselgeek shortshifter...

looks pretty straightforward though, no?

Default I would say it's probably one of the easier mods you could try.

Default I did a Neuspeed SS install myself, and if there's a way to screw anything up I'll find it...

the install was really easy except taking the shift lever off the selector shaft. Some people recommend a terminal puller... but I got away using a c-clamp.

The dieselgeek kit also has the side-to-side lever reduction, so I can't comment on that, but the front/back install was very easy.

I managed to drop the cap of the pin stud down in the car, but I luckily had one of those magnets on a stick to get it out. I don't think the ball on your shifter ('02+ has the pin) has anything to fall off of it.

Default Steve....Just follow the instructions step by step.....>

and look at the pics on the install page. Have a puller handy. It's pretty painless...

Default Yes I do....>>>

I was a little reluctant to do this, because mine (stock) shifted and felt so good. I went with the DG Original, and I am not disappointed at all. Still smooth and precise, no notchiness or undo increase in force needed. Just shorter...:-)

Default Is it reversible... Can you go back to Stock?

I'm thinking in case someone doesn't like the feel("Race" type), or in my case would like to take it out before turing in the car.
