Pictures from HMS Oktoberfest

Hi all; here's a link to my Webshots album with the pictures I took from Sunday's Hartmann Motorsport's Oktoberfest Open House and Car Show in Irvine, California. HMS is the shop that did my TT's Stage III install (and Quaife, and flywheel/clutch).

There were a lot of cool cars that showed up through the day, and APR, Sparco and Brembo were there showing off their wares. (Special thanks to APR for taking a ride in my car and letting me know the new loud whirrring noise coming from my Stage III turbo is "normal"!).

Plenty of folks were getting their Audi and VWs chipped by APR/HMS, and since it was an HMS event, Scott was there explaining the benefits of Intrax suspension bits.

Probably the car of most interest to me was Mark's tricked out A4 - this thing has a 1.8l 5V that's no nearly 2.0l, thanks to a stroker kit. It's generating amazing horsepower now, and Mark's not done, with all sorts of new modifications planned (including "secret" APR stuff - hey, that's what it said on the window, I'm not making this up!).

Anyway, it was a fun day - check out the pics to see who showed up.
