Default Need advice. Would like to move up to 18" wheel, what do I have to do?

1- Buy 18" tires - Which one is the most affordable? I don't race or speed..

2- Buy the 18" rims. Do I have to do anything to make them fit right in?

Thanks,

Default seeing as how you seem to be all show and no go...

get either 8 inch wide or 8.5 inch wide wheels.. try 35mm offset for 8"s. Go with a 225/40 18. I would stick with either S03 or similar... Kuhmos are cheap, but keep in mind you want a high quality tire with a very stiff sidewall to give protection to your rim, some tires have softer sidewalls, im assuming you wont be shelling out for real wheels like BBS, SSR or similar..whatever you get make sure its no more than say 23lbs..lighter is better..try and get TUV approved as well..

Default what BBS wheels weight less than 23 lbs in 18?

if he is all show and no go, why pay more for the better performing, faster wearing tires? I think the Kumhos are fine for street use. Much better than stock tires.

Default CH's are a tad over 23lbs - RC's are considerably lighter

and stronger - in the 19-20lb range if I remember correctly.
