I just tried to get my V1 hardwired in the new TT. I had it all set in the A4 in the rear wiper fuse hole (since there was no rear wiper in the A4) and it was not a problem at all.
I searched the archives and cant really find any TT help on this. I have all of the options but am not using the car phone. If you have pix and/or explanations it would be great! Oh, I also tried what it said to do in the Tech articles for the Allroad with no success. Thanks! |

There's been a bunch of posts on this.
There are basically three ways that I know of: 1) Tap into a fuse 2) Tap into a connector below the dash - what I did 3) Tap into the dome light I know all of these methods have been described here before with pics and instructions. I keep meaning to gather all this stuff together and put it somewhere, but haven't yet. If I can find a link, I'll post it here. scot

where you can mount the detector.
Go to the AW Tech section and click on TT. The article is "Radar Detector Hardwire with the Homelink Visor." |
