Default Valentine Hardwire Installation-help please?

I just tried to get my V1 hardwired in the new TT. I had it all set in the A4 in the rear wiper fuse hole (since there was no rear wiper in the A4) and it was not a problem at all.

I searched the archives and cant really find any TT help on this. I have all of the options but am not using the car phone.

If you have pix and/or explanations it would be great!

Oh, I also tried what it said to do in the Tech articles for the Allroad with no success. Thanks!

Default Oh boy...

There's been a bunch of posts on this.
There are basically three ways that I know of:
1) Tap into a fuse
2) Tap into a connector below the dash - what I did
3) Tap into the dome light

I know all of these methods have been described here
before with pics and instructions. I keep meaning to
gather all this stuff together and put it somewhere,
but haven't yet. If I can find a link, I'll post it
here.

Default There's switched power at HomeLink if your driving an '02

That would be close and tidy. Saw the post and printed a copy. Will try to find the link.

Default It's at the rear view mirror mount, right next to the visor

where you can mount the detector.

Go to the AW Tech section and click on TT. The article is "Radar Detector Hardwire with the Homelink Visor."
