Default Scheduled my 1st 10000 mile service for my 02 225QC, dealer says that...

Dealer says that tire rotation is not included. Also that the TT does not use a synthetic oil, just regular oil. I know when I bought the car from this dealer, my salesman told me the only thing I pay for is tires, nothing else. Is my dealer just wrong or am I wrong? Thanks!

Default It depends on dealer. some are good some are bad. ...

is it a single dealership or multiple brands? the one we have in austin sucks but they just got the dealership takenb away because of bad service & I the new company also sells porsche so they know how to care for the customer properly.

Default The dealer will use the oil they usually stock, and it is usually not

synthetic.

Take along a six pack of your choice and ask them to use your provided oil.

Tire rotation was provided for the '01 models only at the first 5K service, but they may have discontinued that as they did with the 5K service on the '02 models.

Default First rotation should be included (at least it was for me). And yes, you need to pay for synthetic.

Default Tire rotation is not included in the warranty after the 5K service.

Synthetic oil is also not included. Just buy your own and ask them to use it instead of the dino juice. Many here use Mobile 1 5W-30.

Default Tire rotation is not included and dealer charges "bend-over" rates for this...

As far as oil, I was charged $9/qt. for Mobil One in my first oil change by the dealer.
After giving my service rep a bad rating for that service experience, he has now agreed to allow me to supply my own oil. I just put it on the front seat and they use it.

Default $9 per QT, the dealer bent me over for $11 dollars a Qt!

I'll not make that mistake again.

Default Really? My guy just tagsw on the difference in price, so Mobile 1 is ~$20 more than the usual stuff

I just scheduled a 15k for this Sat. - it'll be $52.95. Not bad IMO.

Default Well, that is pretty high if you are still under warranty. The oil change service is free...

My most recent one (20k) cost me the price of the
oil that I supplied.
That is it.
