I was away last week, so new stupid poll from me. I'm sure you were all heartbroken.
I'm continuing on with topics related to speeding and tickets. Part 2 - what is your best/worst speeding ticket story in the TT? God bless you if you don't have any yet. Mine: I think the best one was when a cop actually said to me, "I estimated the speed, because I couldn't catch up to you to pace you." I really wanted to say something, but I really didn't want to go to jail. The worst is very recent. I was jammed up in left lane driver traffic on the Mass Pike. I zipped right and started making some progress. When the unmarked car that I passed caught up to me at the toll booth, they weren't, um, thrilled. Written up as 100 in a 55 - that's $450 in MA. Gah! Part 3 - how do you decide if you will fight a ticket or just pay it? I fight everything in state, and anything out of state that I think may come back to hit my insurance. If I know that it won't, I just pay it. It's the insurance hit that's the killer, not the cost of the ticket. Results from last time: It looks like VA is the cheapest place to go speeding. They balance that by making radar detectors illegal. OR and NY both looked worse than MA. All are awfully high.

Vincent: "What you mean 'walk the earth'?" ttdude: "You know, like Kane in 'Kung Fu'...go places...meet people...get in adventures..." Vincent: "For how long?" ttdude: "As long as it takes." the NW suburbs and home. However it was night, and I went past an unmarked as if he was standing still.
Needless to say, I was pulled over, and when I was asked why I was going so fast, I explained I was PO'd about a flight being so late, missing dinner with the family and was hoping to at least tuck my son in prior to him going to sleep. He looked in the back, saw the car seat, and said that reminds him, he needs to get home as well, so tells me to get out of here, but slow it down as he can't have me making him look bad!!!! My only stop in 5 years, and it was a lucky one by one great cop!

I didn't say a stinking word about your stupid looking NAZI jodhpurs, AND the Rogaine ain't working either. You're gonna get 85 dollars of lip if you keep it up bro. jeezzzzzzzz
