Default You have to remove them. Champher the leading edges, glue 'em, clean the center groove

Default Ted has had this issue for some time. No amount of chamfering, cleaning or anti-squeal has helped.

Default Hmm...then I'd suggest harder stops than usual: no pvssy footing up to stops. That might help.

Default Mine needed to re-chamferred recently for the same reason

I had worn down past where i had first chamfered the pads. Need to make sure you get the center channel.

Water and moisture seem to make it squeal first thing to, but after firm braking it seems to get better.

But i'll put up with an occasional squeak for the complete lack of break dust.
