Default Castrol Syntec 5W50 - I like the weight and personal preference I guess.

Default Mobil 1 5W30

I just switched at my 25,000 mile service. I read the article mentioned below as well as other posts on this forum. Based on that info, it seemed like synthetics are the way to go.

Default 0w-40...think audi would have recommended this if it was widely available in US...oh and I used it

on the s4 which has engine and turbo temps that have got to be much higher than the 225 1.8t. Oh yeah./mobile tri syn

Default Mobil 1 10w30

Why? Have used it in everything from street to race engines and have had no problems that I could blame on the oil itself, so I figured it would work fine for my TT also.

Shoes: (1) PZero Rosso Assyms from 0 to 21k miles (OK); (2) Bridgestone Pole Position S-03s - (21-44k, Grippy but Noisy when they get low tread); and now (3) Michelin Pilot Sports ( Better than Pirellis for grip, just as quiet)

Protection/Enhancement:

Stongard Body & Light Kit, Nonmetallic Tint, TT Valve Stems, Euro Mirrors, Zaino, V1

Default Mobil 1 5W-30 - I wanted synth and the manual says to use 5W-30...
